20 years ago the Internet was unheard of and just a dream. In today's society anyone can have access to the Internet almost anywhere. There are Internet cafes, phones that are capable of connecting to the Internet almost as fast as computers do and wi-fi networks everywhere.

I think one Pro is that when we need information we can just turn to the internet with our questions. And there is a Con, i think one Con is that thee are some sites that contain graphic natured contents. Like porn, drugs, and alcohol. And there are alot of kids out there that have access to these sites. There is one more Con. There ae ALOT of petifiles out therre and the internet can be a very dangerous place for kids who dont know what they ae doing and are not careful. That's my opinion. thanks.

The internet is like a open book of information.
The internet can be a way that we can connection each other around the world but it also can be open up 4 peterfyers and unsafe people.

Some of the pros are that you can make friends all over the world and learn about different cultures and stuff. but then some cons are you have to be careful becaue some people now-a-days known as phedophiles and known as predators can be out there pretending they're someone their not.
Some of the consequences are little kids getting hurt, people getting kidnapped or such thing as you pretty much have like eveything in your life saved on the comptuter and internet such as important documents and it could crash and it would all be gone.

I think it’s good at times because incept We have internet connections we can send emails by computers instead of writing a letter and sending through mail and it takes a while to receive it. Also you can meet new people from the computer but just be careful on who the new person is you meet. Some bad things are that you can get on some stuff you have no business on and get in trouble for it. It also is more expensive. Some consequences is that in the future we’ll probably have higher and better technology and you’re going to want something different and so you just waste money on the old computer.... aryanna d
Some good things about having internet are that you get to chat with friends. You can play games. You can fing information if you have a report due. You can learn how to do or make something. You can make your own website or make a myspace. Some bad things about having internet is that you don't know who you are talking to. You think that you are talking to your friend but it could be someone totally diffenernt.
The good thing is that everybody is connected a,nd the bad thing is that bad people are connected at any given time.That the internet might take our some peoples lives and more ,and more bad people will get on the internet.

Something good about being connected is that you can talk to your friends and family. Play games, and get things done that need to be done. The bad thing about it is that if you get on something bad and give out your information and a strange finds out alot of stuff about you and then you will be in BIG TROUBLE.

I think the internet society its a great thing, and its growing, yet, theres the viruses that destroy your personal files, the hackers, that view your personal life, and the misc. sites that are usually unacceptable. But its a great way to connect to those around the world, and learn about others, in the end it'll help the world grow as one.

I think a pro of having internet acess would be that you can find out information that you might need for something or other. I think some cons would be that, like some other people have said, are internet predators. A lot of bad things can come out of internet pedator-ness.

I think that so some of the pros to our internet society are that we connect to annyone at any time. We can research, download, spend our time and talk to friens because of the internet.
In a split second though all of your personal info, thoughts and feelings about a certain subject can be erased that or you could be one of those invisible people.
Internet has its pros and its cons. Its up to you to choose which one is for you.
Good things about being connected, well we get to communicate with each other, the internet should be a good thing but people make it bad. Bad things, there are hackers and they can take your information. One day the internet could ruin us all, by sending viruses and even more severe hacking.

Pros: People can connect and talk to their friends from the Internet, also to learn new things from other country. You can play games, do your homework assignments at home then send it to your teachers. Hear some of the newest songs & lyrics.
Cons: Some of the bad things about the Internet is because some people might access into your computer/laptop and hack or control on whatever that you're doing. They might also steal your identity and make a fake ID and use it to do bad things.
Some pros would be that it's very easy to communicate with others, even if they live around the world. You can also search and look things up, which is good if you have to research something for school. The internet can also preoccupy your time if you're bored. Some cons are that everyone's behavior on the computer or internet are not always being monitored. There's also people who hack, and there's cyberbullying that takes place. Some pros to the internet are as follows; they can help students gain information faster than an encyclopedia. It can also be used to find weather status, and news updates.
Personally I think there are more cons than there are pros. Many people like to take advantage of the internet and look at "stuff" they shouldn't, if you are catching my drift. The majority of the internet is used for gossip, and sites like Myspace, Facebook, Xanga, Beebo, and many more.
The internet is a major part of most people's lifes. One pro is that the internet cen be used to be connected. Connect to friends, coworkers, find information, access bank accounts, and nearly everything else. You can talk to your friends virtually whenever you want and shop online. However, a major con is that anyone has access to the internet. That opens the oppertunity for hacking, scheming, predators and false information. Wikipedia is a huge problem among school students. Unkowingly they are spreading false imformaion, therfore rusulting in bad grades. I think that people should be warned what to watch out for on the internet before they start tpying in the address bar. They could even accidentally lose their identity.
Some pros are able to hack into your system whether it be robotic pros or actual people. Some consequences that hackers or pros might face in the future, may be being put in jail. It depends on how bad the situation is.
Talking to friends and getting information super fast are really good things about the internet. But there are not so nice people that want to hack your stuff and learn where you live so they can kill you. I think the internet is good overall as long as you do safe thing. Just don’t be stupid and you probably won’t get kill.

A pro for being so connected are being able to communicate. Another pro for being connected is being able to check anything on the internet and not have to leave the situation that you are currently in. A con about being so connected is the fact that the technology could interrupt a very important meeting that you might be in or a very quiet environment. I personally think there will be consequences because if the world relies too much on the internet then they won’t know anything except the internet. If the internet crashes everything will shut down and mess up because a lot more things are programmed to the internet.

If you ask me the good things that can be brought or enjoyed by internet is that you can have fun and it will give you things to do but not only that but you can learn at the same time. I think a "Pro" of this situation is that family and friends can communicate in an easy and convenient way even if they are hundreds of miles in a different direction. I think a “Con” of our future Internet based society is that people will be so busy on the internet that they will start spending less time outside and more time inside on their computer. I love the internet. I'm pretty sure everyone does. You get to do alot of things you never thought you could.But a con. would be the "internet Preditors". Thats what I call them. They can log into chat rooms and tell you a whole bunch of lies and you could give them all of your important information. You don't wanna do that!! So be careful!!!!
