Bea visits Destiney

Dear Friends in Italy,

I went home with Destiney, she likes to be called Dezy. I was with her from October 17-21. We went to Oklahoma, a state that is south of Kansas. We visited with her dad's family. We ate doughnuts, they were delicious!! They are pastries that are fried and look like little round cakes with a hole in the middle. Later we ate a Mexican restaurant called "Alfredos". I had tacos with Dezy. They are really good and easy to hold and eat. We went to Dezy's grandparents' house. Her grandpa has lung cancer. After our visit we had ice cream. Later that night we had a movie night and ate popcorn and watched 2 movies, The Bee Movie and Iron Man. On our way back home on the 19th, we stopped at a store and got slushies, which are drinks with crushed ice and flavorings added, like cherry. I am so happy that tomorrow we go to the zoo!!!

I eat a lot, but the food here is different and I am trying to taste it all. I am trying not to gain too much weight or my clothes won't fit me!
