Blogging Bears

Students at Hadley Middle School in Wichita, Kansas - USA, sent a teddy bear named Ted Hadley to students in Italy. In return, students in Italy sent their teddy bear (Bea) to students at Hadley. The students will be journaling from the view point of their visiting bears. This exchange will help the students practice their English, as well as learn about a different country and their culture.

I'M TRAINING A LOT

Dear friends,

I haven’t written to you for a long time because I’m very busy in Italy.
I went home with Stefano last weekend and I enjoyed myself a lot.
On Saturday morning I woke up late and stayed at home with Stefano’s sister, Francesca. She didn’t go to school because she wasn’t very well. Francesca and I had breakfast (milk, croissant and some biscuits) and then we watched some TV and finally we took a photo (look at our picture, she is very pretty!)
I also played computer games. At 1:oo p.m. Stefano got home and I had lunch with his family. We ate “lasagne” (Lasagne is a kind of pasta made with flour and eggs) and tomato sauce. I liked this dish a lot.
In the afternoon Stefano and I went to Daniele’s, one of Stefano’s classmates. They did their homework and then we watched some TV. In the evening we went to a sport centre. I met Stefano’s cousins there and we took lots of photos. I trained a lot because somebody here says I’m a bit plump. I did weight lifting and boxing! Do you like my pictures?
After the hard training I was starving so we went back home to have dinner and then, I went to bed straightaway because I was exhausted!

I hope you’re all fine. Love,
Ted
