Blogging Bears

Students at Hadley Middle School in Wichita, Kansas - USA, sent a teddy bear named Ted Hadley to students in Italy. In return, students in Italy sent their teddy bear (Bea) to students at Hadley. The students will be journaling from the view point of their visiting bears. This exchange will help the students practice their English, as well as learn about a different country and their culture.

I went home with Ranessa

Hi,

I went home with Ranessa on a school bus. I got to meet her mom and she is very nice. Her little brother is William and her sisters' names are Shae and Tiera they are nice too. Tiera loved me very much and wanted to hold me. She took good care of me. I liked all of them!! I went to church and met Ranessa's cousins. I liked Jordan she is also 12 and we had fun! I got to meet her hamsters. Ranessa held them and I got scared for a minute but I stopped being scared and it was alright.

I hope all of you are fine. How is the weather in Italy? It is cold here, but it will warm up here soon. I love you all, Bea

Dear Alysia and Bea,
I have never eaten Chinese food, but it looks delicious from the picture that you took!
