Blogging Bears

Students at Hadley Middle School in Wichita, Kansas - USA, sent a teddy bear named Ted Hadley to students in Italy. In return, students in Italy sent their teddy bear (Bea) to students at Hadley. The students will be journaling from the view point of their visiting bears. This exchange will help the students practice their English, as well as learn about a different country and their culture.

TED WITH THE STUDENTS OF "II G"

Hello friends,
I’ve great news! From now on I’ll have more and more friends because Mrs Andriulo let her students of “2G” take part in this project. At first I was sad because I thought I could never stay with the friends that have looked after me until now, (the students of “3G”), but I’ve been told not to worry about it because I would stay with them on alternate weeks!

Today I met a new friend, Illary, a very pretty girl aged 12. She is tall and slim, her eyes are light brown and her hair is long, straight and dark blonde. Illary and I did a lot of things together. After school she took me her home and I met her father, Massimiliano, her mother, Angela, her sister, Noemi, her aunt, Romina, and her cousin, Alexandra. They were glad to meet me and asked me a lot of questions about Kansas.
Illary also introduced me to her dog Asia. It is a very small and beautiful pincher.
Then we had lunch: we ate pasta and tomato sauce, chips and a slice of cake for dessert.
After that Illary did her homework and finally we went for a walk.
It's about eleven p.m. and the film that Illary's family and I watched on TV has just finished. It was an action movie but I didn't like it very much even because I'm sleepy!

I'll write tomorrow,
Love, Ted
