The weather in our region seems to be more unpredictable. However, there has been a lot of rain all over the U.S. in the past weeks.

In your opinion, what was the most important thing that you learned from this event?
Connor says that he learned that there were more different types of weather in a month than he ever thought of.
Robi and Camryn thought that the most interesting thing was how different a graph looked that showed Celsius from a graph that showed Fahrenheit.
Whole class learned how to be safe in bad weather. Do not get in water or touch metal during a thunderstorm. When there is a tornado you need to go to shelter immediately. Shelter could be in a basement, or the middle of your house where there are no windows.
If someone gets hurt call 911.

What are some facts you can compile about weather?
Our class learned that weather can be unpredictable depending on where you live.
Some types of weather can be dangerous.
Temperatures change throughout the day. Your warmest temperature reading may be in the middle of the night or early morning.

List some of your favorite parts of this event.
We enjoyed learning about the weather from other students around the country.
Students loved collecting data and making graphs to show their findings.
We liked the web cam where all the schools could see each other and talk.
The projects the students created were fantastic. We especially liked the one safety video with Jon in it. It was factual yet funny.

We noticed that compared to New York our weather was a little cooler. We thought that was unusual because New york is farther north than we are. We also noticed that our temperature can vary a lot from day to day.
We enjoyed doing our projects and learning about weather safety. Mrs. Blanchard's Fifth Grade from Central Lee.
